Danmoi (Vietnamese Jew Harp)

Dan Moi is the Vietnamese lip harp of the Hmong highlands — a small brass reed instrument played against the lips, not the teeth. The mouth becomes the resonator, so a single pluck can bloom into a warm, overtone-rich drone. Handmade, easy to start, endlessly explorable. Comes in a bamboo case. An instrument of courtship, festival, and quiet play.
